You are invited to attend a special day of teachings being given in London by Lama Jampa Thaye on Saturday 24 October. As Lama Jampa said recently in France,

“It is only religion, in particular our Buddha Dharma, which offers the sanity and fearlessness needed to get through difficulties, such as the ones we have now and the ones to come, which could be very difficult indeed, as the consequences of these activities, and so on of the last six months really unwind  in people’s lives.”

The Mind Training Levelling All Conceptions by Geshe Serlingpa

(commences at 10:30am)

The Mind-Training Levelling Conceptualisation was authored by the eleventh century master, Dharmakirti,  the most celebrated of Atisha’s teachers. Dharmakirti’s instructions provide a vivid and powerful guide to the transformation of all negative situations, internal and external, thus making it an extraordinary resource in these troubled times.

The Initiation of Mahachakra Vajrapani*

(commences at 2:30pm)

The deity Vajrapani is the embodiment of the energy of the enlightened  mind of  all Buddhas. In the form of Mahachakra ( ‘Great Wheel’) he is particularly renowned for subduing obstacles that might arise on the spiritual path. This line of transmission has been principally preserved in the Sakya and Gelug traditions of dharma.

*Please note that in order to attend this teaching one must have made a formal commitment to the Buddhist path through the act of taking refuge. If you would like to do this before the event please contact the centre.
