Chenrezik Puja

Chenrezig

‘For the Benefit of Beings as Limitless as Space’

Wednesday 6.30pm and Sunday 10.30am

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19 THESE PUJAS WILL BE SILENT RECITATIONS

Chenrezik is the embodiment of compassionate energy and is one of the most widespread meditation practices in Vajrayana Buddhism. The vajrayana meditation practice of Chenrezik originated in India but was spread widely through all the Buddhist schools in Tibet. These practices are transmitted from an authentic lineage of qualified teachers and masters of the Sakya tradition.

Participation is restricted to those who have received the required teachings (refuge and reading transmission ) from a qualified lama. However, anyone who has not taken refuge or received the lung or reading transmission is still welcome to sit in during the session without taking part in the actual practice. Please talk to one of the Centre co-ordinators or a member of the sangha for further information.
