This day commemorates the first teaching given by the Buddha, in the deer park at Sarnath. It falls on the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan month – in July or August.

Chokur Duchen falls on Tuesday the 9 July this year but we will do prayers on the Saturday 6 July to allow more people to attend.
