Buddha Days

All Dechen centres hold events on or around the four Buddha Days each year. These sessions of prayers for the benefit of beings include the Praise of the Twelve Deeds of the Buddha and the Sixteen Sthaviras Puja. This latter prayer is to the sixteen senior disciples of Lord Buddha who are considered to be important protectors of the teaching. The practice of meditation and prayer dedicated to them is maintained in all traditions of dharma. See below for this years dates and events.

Anyone with devotion to the Buddha is welcome to attend.
