Dechen London offers weekly meditation classes introducing calm-abiding (śamatha) practice — the foundation of all Buddhist study and reflection. Each session includes short guided meditations, explanations of posture and breathing, and space for questions. The teachings follow the Sakya lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, known for its balanced approach of study and contemplation. Whether you’re completely new to meditation or wish to refresh your practice, these evenings provide a peaceful environment to stabilise attention and develop clarity of mind. All sessions are open to everyone and can be booked in advance through our online scheduler.
