The third Buddha Day of the year marks the first teaching given by the Buddha, in the deer park at Sarnath. It’s name is Chokor Duchen, literally the ‘turning of the dharma wheel’. It falls on the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan month (Monday 28 July). To enable people to take part we will celebrate this event with special prayers on the nearest Saturday in the calendar.

3pm - Offerings and prayers to the Buddha and his noble followers
4pm - Afternoon tea
